Guest Speaker: Razorback Basketball Coach, Kelsi Musick
The University of Arkansas hired Kelsi Musick on March 21, 2025, as the 10th head coach of its women’s basketball program after a strong three-year run at Oral Roberts.
She improved the team’s win total each season, culminating in a 24-9 record and back-to-back 20-win seasons, while leading one of the nation’s top scoring offenses. Known for her fast-paced style and player development, Musick earned praise for her leadership and potential to elevate Arkansas in the SEC.
Previously, Musick spent 13 seasons at Southwestern Oklahoma State, compiling a 259-125 record, winning five conference Coach of the Year awards, and reaching the 2019 national championship game.
She began her career at Fresno State and also coached at the high school level. A former standout player at Cameron University, she is a Hall of Fame inductee and now looks to build a successful future at Arkansas.
Musick and her husband, Josh, have three children – sons, Maddox and Titus, and one daughter, Amaria.
