We Give Back
Since 1980, Girls Inc. has awarded nearly $1 million to help girls reach their educational goals through The J.C. and June B. Alexander, Jr. Scholarship, John & Kim McFarland and Dr. Williams Holmes & Walter O. Caldwell Foundation.
Each year we award around $25,000 total to local young women who have been affected by Girls Inc. in their life, proving that working hard and being strong, smart and bold pays off!
At minimum, applicants must be a senior in high school, however there is no maximum age limit to apply.
How to Apply
Please read the guidelines and complete the application carefully. The scholarship committee has requested that applications be typed.
The application is available for download below. Missing application elements will disqualify you from further scholarship consideration.
Applications are due back by the 1st Friday in May. No late submissions will be accepted.
